FMCSD Board of Directors Meeting

Rachella Dravis is seeking support to fill the FMCSD Board of Directors open seat.

With over 36 years of experience in education, her entire career has been devoted to serving students, supporting educators, and advocating for strong, equitable public education. Rachella’s professional background spans instructional coaching, special education, educational neuroscience, and computer science, with direct experience in PreK–12 classrooms and systems. She holds certification in Applied Educational Neuroscience and has worked closely with school communities to improve student outcomes and promote inclusive, brain-aligned practices.

Rachella has always believed that schools are the heartbeat of a community, and is committed to ensuring every student—regardless of background—has access to a high-quality, supportive, and future-ready education. She has spent decades working to make that vision a reality from inside the classroom and alongside administrators and policymakers. Serving on the school board would allow her to bring that experience to the governance level, contributing insight, integrity, and a deep understanding of both the challenges and the possibilities facing public education today.
